Assistant Manager – Business Development

About the Role

We are hiring an Assistant Manager – Business Development to support our outreach in colleges and educational institutions. The ideal candidate should have basic experience in marketing or sales (preferably in the education sector) and be comfortable interacting with college authorities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and reach out to potential clients, partners, colleges, institutes, and businesses.
  • Promote company courses, training programs, and services across different segments.
  • Assist in generating leads through calls, emails, visits, and online platforms.
  • Conduct meetings, presentations, and demos for clients and institutions.
  • Assist in organizing seminars, webinars, and promotional events.
  • Coordinate with internal teams for proposals, marketing materials, and follow-ups.
  • Maintain CRM data, lead records, and daily/weekly activity reports.
  • Support senior BD managers in closing deals and achieving monthly targets.
  • Help in market research, competitor analysis, and new business opportunities.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales/marketing (education preferred).
  • Good communication & presentation skills.
  • Confidence in meeting college stakeholders.
  • Strong follow-up and willingness to learn.
  • Ready to travel for college visits.
  • Graduate in any field (MBA preferred but not required).
