Job Purpose:

Supervise the delivery and operation of data engineering pipelines and platforms by coordinating implementation activities, enforcing data quality and compliance requirements, and ensuring reliable, secure, and timely data availability for analytics and AI use cases.
Job Responsibilities:

Supervise the development, execution, and maintenance of data pipelines to ensure consistent ingestion, transformation, and delivery of data in line with approved technical designs and operational requirements.

Control compliance with data protection, privacy, and governance requirements by ensuring PDPL-aligned data handling, access controls, logging, and documentation across data engineering activities.

Review data pipeline performance, stability, and data integrity, coordinating corrective actions for failures, delays, or quality issues with engineering and platform teams.

Optimize data processing workflows, scheduling logic, and storage configurations to improve performance, availability, and cost efficiency within approved cloud environments.

Coordinate with data science, analytics, and business teams to translate data requirements into executable pipelines and curated datasets aligned with agreed specifications and service expectations.

Plan and oversee implementation of data quality checks, validation rules, and monitoring mechanisms to ensure engineered datasets meet usability and consistency standards.

Participate in deployment and operational support of cloud-based data platforms, orchestration tools, and automation frameworks in accordance with approved architectures.

Review infrastructure-as-code scripts and deployment pipelines to ensure controlled releases, environment consistency, and minimal disruption to data services.

Assist in incident response activities by supporting root-cause analysis, remediation planning, and documentation for data pipeline and platform issues.
Job Requirements:

Academic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or Information Systems, or a related field.

Years of Experience:
6 years of relevant experience.

Other Requirements:
AWS Certified Data Analytics, Microsoft Azure Data Engineer Associate, or Google Professional Data Engineer is preferred.
