Assistant Manager - Design (UAEN) - Dubai Holding Land Estates

Through the centralization of Dubai Holding’s land bank, Dubai Holding Land Estates focuses on large-scale master plans, ensuring alignment with the Dubai 2040 Urban Master Plan, whilst also supporting the business’s commitment to sustainable urban development and strategic land portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receive, verify, and review all LTS submissions including new designs, amendments, and as‑built drawings.
• Conduct technical assessments against DHLE DCR, guidelines, and regulatory frameworks.
• Validate area calculations and ensure alignment with approved development parameters.
• Issue design review reports, NOCs, stamped drawings, and rejection letters where required. Conduct meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors to clarify comments or resolve issues.
• Prepare design presentations and technical material for management review or approvals.
• Ensure all workflows are processed within SLA and with high technical accuracy.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Planning, GIS, Infrastructure) and external authorities to expedite NOCs.
• Support continuous improvement of design guidelines to enhance customer experience and efficiency.
• Undertake additional design tasks and special assignments as requested by management.
• Enhance guidelines and regulations to align with clients demands, needs and satisfaction.
• Coordinate with different disciplines internally and externally to ensure a smooth experience between DHLE, the client and appointed consultant/contractor.
• Ensure adherence to the Dubai Building Code in all applicable processes and reviews.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in architecture
• Five years of Architecture Design and review
• Autocad, BIM, MS office, Revit, Sketchup, Presentation preparation softwares.
• DDA, DM & Trakhees Design Review Guidelines, Dubai Building Code
• Team player, good communication skills.
• Innovative, Technology oriented.
