Assistant Manager - Dispatch & Logistics

Badlapur, India

* Position :- Asst. Manager - Dispatch & Logistics

* Department :- Dispatch & Logistics

* Qualification : - Graduate or Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain / Operations / MBA

* Experience Required :- 5–8 years (preferably in Dry Mix Mortar, Cement, or Building Materials Industry)

* · CTC :- 5 To 7 LPA

* Roll & Responsibility : -

1. Dispatch Planning & Execution:

· Plan and schedule daily dispatches in coordination with the production and sales teams.

· Monitor order prioritization and loading as per customer requirements and delivery timelines.

· Supervise vehicle placement, loading, and timely dispatch of materials.

· Dispatch plan by 5 PM previous day & revise based on new orders

· Arranging trucks according to dispatch plan.

· TAT of trucks

· List of Transporters with available fleet

· Weighbridge calibration

· tempo trip allocation, monitoring, utilization (diesel issued?)

· Daily production and dispatch reports

· Sand requirement, truck co-ordination, daily connect with E7 plant

· Gypsum receipt, unloading and stacking.

· Gypsum loading on trucks/bulker

· FIFO for Gypsum, informing quality issues concern during receipt, storage.

· Alccoforte receipt, unloading & stacking,

· Alccoforte loading on trucks/bulker

· FIFO for Alccoforte, informing quality issues concern durng receipt, storage.

· Hydra calling, Bulker arrangement

· Stock status Alccoforte and Gypsum

· Loading manpower co-ordination

· Understanding stock, which batch load by interacting with Production & ware house officer

· truck trip certification

· Daily GRN dispatch, sales report to HO

· Pending orders (more than 24 hours)

· co-ordination with drivers, and site for faster unloading

· BB/Sand/cement/GGBs/Flyash documentation verification GRN

· Maintenance and other items verification & Inward /Outward challan

2. Logistics Coordination:

· Coordinate with transporters and ensure vehicle availability as per the dispatch plan.

· Track vehicle movement and ensure timely deliveries to customers.

· Optimize route planning to minimize delivery costs and time.

3. Inventory & Documentation:

· Ensure real-time stock availability in the system before dispatch.

· Maintain accurate dispatch records including gate passes, invoices, e-way bills, and LR copies.

· Coordinate with accounts and sales teams for invoice generation and documentation.

4. System & ERP Updates:

  • Update dispatch details in ERP/software systems accurately and timely.
  • Generate daily/weekly/monthly reports on dispatch status, vehicle utilization, and delivery performance.

5. Compliance & Safety:

Ensure compliance with legal and statutory norms for transportation.

Verify transport documents (RC, insurance, driver license, etc.).

Ensure proper safety procedures are followed during material handling and vehicle loading.

6. Vendor & Transporter Management:

Manage relationships with transporters and logistic partners.

Monitor transporter performance (cost, delivery time, reliability)

Negotiate transportation rates and identify cost-saving opportunities.

7. Customer Coordination:

· Liaise with customers regarding dispatch schedules, vehicle tracking, and delivery confirmation.

· Resolve any issues related to delays, product mismatch, or complaints.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
