we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager – Finance to oversee the financial operations of our Projects. The ideal candidate will manage daily banking activities, cash handling, vendor billing, receivables/payables, and ensure compliance with organizational and tax policies. This role requires a high level of accuracy, financial discipline.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily bank transactions, reconciliations, and fund transfers (IBFT, TT, RTGS).
- Maintain cashbook and petty cash registers for both site and head office.
- Prepare and verify payment/receipt vouchers aligned with approved budget heads.
- Process and record vendor invoices and prepare Client invoices as per contractual terms.
- Track and follow up on Client receivables; maintain an up-to-date dues tracker.
- Handle payments (cheque/online) after approval from PD/Head Office.
- Maintain organized document filing—both physical and digital.
- Prepare daily and weekly financial reports, including cash position, expenses, and KPIs.
- Conduct bank reconciliation, ledger reviews, and ensure audit readiness.
- Monitor inventory and GRN reconciliation with store/warehouse teams.
- Ensure all financial documents are tax-compliant (GST, NTN, WHT) and report any discrepancies.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Commerce, or Business Administration.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in project or construction finance.
- Strong command of MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., ERP, QuickBooks).
- Excellent understanding of banking operations, reconciliation, and compliance.
- Detail-oriented, with strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively between project sites and head office.
