Assistant Manager-Fire & Safety

We are looking for a technically sound and proactive Assistant Manager – Fire & Safety to ensure effective implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of fire prevention and life safety systems across the facility.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering (mandatory)
• Relevant fire & safety certifications will be an added advantage

Experience

• 3–6 years of relevant experience in fire & safety systems, preferably in high-rise buildings, malls, or large commercial facilities

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee operation, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm, fire fighting, suppression, and life safety systems
• Ensure compliance with local fire safety laws, civil defense requirements, and international safety standards
• Coordinate with contractors and vendors for inspections, drills, and system upgrades
• Conduct fire risk assessments, safety audits, and emergency drills
• Train staff on fire prevention, emergency response, and evacuation procedures
• Prepare and maintain fire safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
• Liaise with Civil Defense, emergency services, and regulatory authorities
• Support senior management in continuous improvement of fire & safety practices

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong technical knowledge of fire detection & suppression systems
• Hands-on troubleshooting and system diagnostics capability
• Excellent coordination, reporting, and documentation skills
• Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively during emergencies
• Good communication and team management skills
