We are looking for a technically sound and proactive Assistant Manager – Fire & Safety to ensure effective implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of fire prevention and life safety systems across the facility.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering (mandatory)
- Relevant fire & safety certifications will be an added advantage
Experience
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in fire & safety systems, preferably in high-rise buildings, malls, or large commercial facilities
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee operation, testing, and maintenance of fire alarm, fire fighting, suppression, and life safety systems
- Ensure compliance with local fire safety laws, civil defense requirements, and international safety standards
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for inspections, drills, and system upgrades
- Conduct fire risk assessments, safety audits, and emergency drills
- Train staff on fire prevention, emergency response, and evacuation procedures
- Prepare and maintain fire safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
- Liaise with Civil Defense, emergency services, and regulatory authorities
- Support senior management in continuous improvement of fire & safety practices
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong technical knowledge of fire detection & suppression systems
- Hands-on troubleshooting and system diagnostics capability
- Excellent coordination, reporting, and documentation skills
- Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively during emergencies
- Good communication and team management skills
