What you'll do:


The Assistant Manager – Fleet, Asset, Licensing & Deployment is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end management of the delivery bike fleet, rider assets, licensing compliance and deployment operations. The role ensures smooth coordination of delivery rider allocations, legal compliance and fleet availability to achieve operational efficiency and timely order fulfillment.


Fleet Management:


  • Manage the delivery bike fleet (procurement/Leasing with coordination with procurement department, allocation, utilization, and maintenance).
  • Monitor fleet related operational costs to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Coordinate with vendors for maintenance, insurance renewals and replacement bikes.
  • Ensure and monitor timely renewal of registrations, insurance and fitness certificates for all vehicles by coordinating with Vendor.


Asset Management:


  • Oversee rider asset issuance (helmets, uniforms, delivery boxes, mobile devices (if applicable, reflectors, etc.).
  • Track asset allocation and ensure timely return upon employee exit.
  • Implement asset lifecycle management – purchase, usage, maintenance and disposal by coordinating with Procurement and other legal entities.
  • Maintain updated asset inventory and compliance with safety standards.


Licensing & Compliance:


  • Ensure all riders have valid driving licenses and DRC (Delivery Rider Certificate) as per UAE law and RTA.
  • Track license expirations and maintain up-to-date compliance records.
  • Ensure adherence to all RTA/traffic department regulations regarding delivery operations.


Rider Deployment & Operations:


  • Plan and execute deployment of delivery bike riders across the NUBS as per the requirements.
  • Ensure optimal manpower allocation to meet daily delivery targets required by the NUBS.
  • Support HR in onboarding of riders by ensuring readiness of bikes, assets and licenses.
  • Monitor rider availability, attendance and deployment performance.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety requirements during deployment.


Reporting & Coordination:


  • Maintain MIS reports on fleet utilization, asset tracking, licensing status and deployment KPIs.
  • Liaise with vendors, HR and operations for smooth coordination.
  • Provide regular updates to management on fleet status, risks and improvement plans.


Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):


  • 85-90% Fleet availability and utilization rate.
  • On-time license renewals & compliance (Zero fines for expired documents).
  • Asset allocation accuracy & recovery rate.
  • Rider deployment efficiency vs demand.
  • Reduction in operational costs (maintenance, fines).
  • Compliance with safety & regulatory standards.


What you’ll need?


  • Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Business Administration or related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in fleet/asset management, preferably in last-mile delivery.
  • Knowledge of UAE traffic regulations, RTA licensing, and compliance requirements.
  • Strong coordination, problem-solving and team management skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint), Google Sheets and fleet management software.
