Assistant Manager Horticulture

• Key Responsibilities

· Agronomic Production

Planning and implementation of horticultural crops growing, cropping patterns, including planting, pruning, and maintaining healthy plant ecosystems.

· Plant Health:

Identifying and controlling pests, diseases, and weeds to maintain plant health and quality.

· Research & Innovation:

Conducting research to implement innovative horticultural practices, technologies, and sustainable methods.

· Supply Management:

Ordering and managing materials like fertilizers, equipment, and other necessary nursery supplies.

· Crop & Plant Management:

Oversee the selection, planting, growth, pest and disease control, and harvesting of plants. This includes diagnosing and addressing plant health issues.

· Record Keeping:

Maintain accurate records of activities, production metrics, and resource use.

· Operational Oversight:

Design and implement protocols for planting, irrigation, fertilization, and climate control, particularly in greenhouses/tunnels.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs100,000.00 - Rs175,000.00 per month
