What you'll be doing:

Assistant HR Manager encompasses exposure to a variety of general HR functions, including, Staffing & Recruiting, Payroll, and other related areas. In addition, the Assistant HR Manager works independently, proactively and with a team, to be more visible to the business, and assists the Human Resources Senior Manager, in handling more challenging and less routine projects. Provide resources and build relationships always focused on the mission and objectives set forth by their leadership. Fully aligned with their teams. Adapt and become more of a strategic resource. Develop an agenda that closely supports the overall goals of the organization.


  • Provide a smooth and efficient HR operations across KSA Operations (Riyad, Jeddah, Dammam, Red Sea)
  • Managing payroll, absence recording, and holiday recording systems
  • Actively engaging and building strong relationships with internal clients and external stakeholders (Local leadership team, MHRSD, GOSI Authority, Tamheer, immigration and Jawazat, etc.)
  • Partner with the business leaders acting as a subject matter expert for Human Resource Management to build and contribute to the Saudi Arabia HR and business strategy
  • Localize global standards to local policies and procedures and drive the best HR practice
  • Coordinate the entire recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, background checks, reference checks, and ensure all necessary pre-employment procedures
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment by promoting open communication, respect, and teamwork.
  • Identify and drive employee development initiatives. Partner with HQ Learning and Development on design and delivery of training programs
  • Identify training needs and develop training programs to enhance employees' skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment contracts, and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws, regulations, and company policies.
  • Other initiatives as directed by Regional HR.
  • Work closely with Regional Leaders and be familiar with Business Unit leaders and Business Consultants, supporting their career growth.
  • Identify current and long-term talent needs and serves as a strategic thought partner to the leadership team as they formulate their talent goals.
  • Handles discipline and termination of employees in accordance with company policy
  • Respond to all emergency calls that may involve any government agencies
  • Liaising with payroll, absence recording, and holiday recording systems
  • Act as business partner within EMEA Regional office on HR related issues, supporting for all HR related matter
  • Full spectrum of HR functions including talent acquisition, compensation and benefits, share service, performance management, employee engagement and development. He/she will work closely with key stakeholders on regional HR matters to build a professional HR service delivery.
  • Identify and lead change management initiatives, coaching of leaders, resource planning and implement cyclical activities as per the HR calendar
  • Partner with the business leaders acting as a subject matter expert for Human Resource Management to build and contribute to the Saudi Arabia HR and business strategy
  • Work with hiring managers and Talent Acquisition to effectively evaluate Project roles
  • Support project teams globally and locally as part of the team or the Middle East roll out to implement HR initiatives in line with the Regional and Global requirements
  • Report, advises, and collaborates with International teams on in-country governance needs including but not limited to Labour law requirements, block visa requirements, Saudization requirements, Netaqat quotas, Qiwa, Tamheer, Hadaf, GOSi, etc
  • Actively engaging and building strong relationships with internal clients and external stakeholders (Local leadership team, MHRSD, GOSI Authority, Tamheer, immigration and Jawazat, etc.)
  • Proactively interprets and communicates on the application of HR policies, interpretation of labour regulations, employee disciplinary and performance management to ensure fair and equitable application
  • Undertake workplace investigations and manage the implementation of the outcome
  • Consult and coordinate with Legal/ Licensing /GRO to ensure that policies comply with labour law
  • Identify legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting comply
  • Create an environment in which differences are openly shared, embraced, and incorporated into the team’s activities. Fosters a culture that encourages and supports inclusion and diversity. Applies understanding of cultural differences to create value for the organization
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff in the department
  • Oversees the daily workflow of the department
  • Provides constructive and timely performance evaluations.

About you:


  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred
  • Proven experience as an HR Manager or a similar role within the hospitality industry, preferably in an airport environment
  • Minimum 3-4 years’ solid experience in sizable establishments
  • In-depth knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulations.
  • Well versed in regional regulatory practices and knowledge in foreign employment market
  • Self-starter who works well independently, able to articulate to all business levels and build strong rapport with internal stakeholders
  • Strong people management skill and ability in building multi-cultural relationships
  • Positive, continuously learning, strong capacity in problem-solving. Drive for excellence and flexible in approach
  • High level of confidentiality, professionalism with exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
