1. Merchandising & Customer Coordination
- Manage end-to-end merchandising activities for assigned customers, from initial inquiry to order conclusion.
- Understand customer requirements and translate them into actionable pre-production sampling plans.
- Maintain effective communication with buyers regarding sampling status, approvals, and timelines.
2. Pre-Production Sampling
- Lead the pre-production sample development process as per customer specifications.
- Ensure product quality standards by closely monitoring samples at every stage.
- Track, generate, and follow up on sample requests on a daily basis.
3. Fabric & Trim Procurement
- Coordinate with Fabric Sourcing and MMC teams for timely procurement of fabric, trims, and accessories.
- Monitor availability of materials to avoid delays in sample and production cycles.
4. Technical Expertise
- Apply strong knowledge of washing, dyeing, and garment finishing processes according to customer requirements.
- Possess complete understanding of fashion and basic garments—both denim and non-denim.
5. Timeline & Approval Management
- Track and monitor critical timelines including sampling, approvals, trims arrival, and fabric status.
- Ensure proactive follow-up to prevent bottlenecks and meet delivery commitments.
6. Reporting & Systems Management
- Prepare merchandising reports, T&A calendars, and progress updates for management.
- Efficiently use ERP and WFX systems for order tracking, data entry, and workflow management.
- Utilize MS Office for documentation, analysis, and presentations.
7. Analysis & Problem Solving
- Conduct root-cause analysis for delays or quality issues.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering / MBA (in marketing specialization)
