Assistant Manager-Performance & Business Excellence

Assistant Manager – Operations Excellence healthcare environment.

Role Overview

We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Operations Excellence to drive business process improvement, governance, risk management, and compliance across Procurement, Supply Chain, and Finance functions.

This role plays a key part in process re-engineering, benchmarking, KPI performance, and GRC framework implementation, particularly within a regulated / healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify process bottlenecks and lead Business Process Re-engineering (BPR) initiatives
  • Develop, review, and maintain governance documents (Policies, SOPs, Procedures, DoA matrices)
  • Support GRC framework development and implementation
  • Conduct risk assessments, define risk triggers, and develop mitigation plans
  • Analyze KPI deviations and benchmark performance against best practices
  • Review laws and regulations to ensure compliance, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions
  • Advise Business Development teams by reviewing contracts for risk and profitability
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, HR, and Quality teams
  • Support PMO initiatives and performance management projects

Qualifications & Certifications

  • MBA or MSc in Business / Management (Mandatory)
  • MSc in Supply Chain Management (Preferred)
  • Project Management Certification (Mandatory)
  • Certifications such as Agile, Change Management, ISO 22301 are a strong plus

Experience & Skills

  • Minimum 2+ years’ experience in governance, process excellence, or operational excellence roles
  • Hands-on experience creating policies, procedures, SOPs, and DoA frameworks
  • Exposure to risk management, KPI design, benchmarking, and compliance
  • Experience in healthcare, public sector, or regulated environments preferred
  • Strong understanding of procurement, supply chain, finance, and governance processes
  • PMO exposure and structured project execution experience
  • Advanced MS Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills

Pay: AED15,000.00 - AED19,500.00 per month
