System Issuance and Management:
Implement and maintain Pharmacy information systems across the clinics to issue medication to patients.
Ensure that staff are well-trained in using the systems for efficient and accurate prescription processing.
Patient Counselling:
- Provide expert guidance to patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions.
- Educate patients on the importance of medication adherence and proper storage.
Storage Organisation and Maintenance:
- Ensure proper storage and organisation of medications by DRAP Guidelines.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organised storage environment with adequate temperature and humidity control.
Inventory Management:
- Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate records of stock levels.
- Implement and manage inventory control to ensure optimal stock use, minimizing waste and shortages.
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to order and replenish stock as needed.
Expiration Monitoring and Disposal:
- Regularly monitor medications' expiration dates, and ensure FEFO (First expiry, first out) order compliance.
Consumption Report Generation:
- Regularly generate and analyse consumption reports for each clinic.
- Identify patterns, trends, and areas for improvement in drug procurement and utilisation.
Demand Preparation and Submission:
- Assess & implement clinic-specific medication needs and prepare accurate demand forecasts.
- Coordinate with clinic managers and procurement teams to ensure a timely and adequate supply of medications.
Formulary Upgradation:
- Continuously review and update formularies based on the latest evidence-based practices and regulatory guidelines.
- Make monthly presentation for consumption of all clinics, have drug utilization review (DUR) for rational and cost economic utilisation.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to optimise medication selection and usage across the network.
Prescription Intervention Presentations:
- Prepare and deliver presentations highlighting interventions to improve prescription accuracy and patient outcomes.
- Share best practices and lessons learned with pharmacy teams across the network to drive continuous improvement.
Staff Training and Development:
- Train and mentor Pharmacy staff across the 45 clinics within the network.
- Develop and deliver training programs on clinical knowledge, pharmacy practices, and software usage.
- Continuously assess staff competencies and identify areas for improvement.
KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
Filling and presenting KPIs to the Medical Director and Clinical Services
Education :
Pharm-D with 3 to 5 years experience.
Candidates having Outreach experience will be given preference.
