Job Title: Assistant Manager Procurement
Location: Lahore
Job Type: Full-Time
Qualification: Graduate (preferably a 4-year business degree or MBA), Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business, or related field.
Experience: 4 to 6 years in technical procurement, preferably in Capex and MRO procurement.
Skills:

• Expertise in procurement techniques (SLAs, vendor enlistment, evaluation, and diversification).
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and ERP systems (Oracle/SAP/MSD 365).
• Preference will be given to candidates with hands-on experience in the MSD 365 Procurement module.
• Excellent communication and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Float RFQs (Requests for Quotations) to gather competitive pricing for specialized materials (Capex, MRO).
• Identify and onboard new vendors to strengthen the supply chain.
• Conduct market visits for sourcing and urgent material requirements.
• Perform financial/technical evaluations to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers for cost efficiency and optimal conditions.
• Assist the Line Manager in generating purchase reports and strategic insights.
• Convert indents/PRs into Purchase Orders (POs) promptly to streamline procurement.
• Ensure on-time deliveries and manage logistics to support production schedules.
• Facilitate timely submission of vendor invoices to the Accounts Department for payments.
