About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist with deep expertise in the IT industry, focusing on sourcing and purchasing IT hardware, software, and services across the United States and Canada. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of regional vendor ecosystems, pricing models, import/export regulations, and contract negotiations in the IT procurement space.

Key Responsibilities

  • Procurement Operations:

Source, evaluate, and purchase IT equipment, software licenses, cloud services, and related technology products.

Manage the end-to-end procurement cycle including RFQs, RFPs, purchase orders, vendor selection, and payment terms.

  • Vendor Management:

Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers, OEMs, and distributors in the U.S. and Canada.

Negotiate contracts, pricing, SLAs, and delivery terms to optimize value and ensure compliance.

  • Market Intelligence:

Monitor pricing trends, product lifecycles, and supply chain disruptions in North America.

Provide insights on cost-saving opportunities and alternative sourcing strategies.

  • Compliance & Documentation:

Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements in both U.S. and Canadian jurisdictions.

Maintain accurate and organized procurement records, contracts, and vendor performance reports.

  • Collaboration:

Work closely with IT, Finance, Legal, and Operations teams to align procurement strategies with business needs.

Support budgeting and forecasting efforts by providing cost analysis and vendor performance data.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

· 2+ years of relevant procurement experience in the IT industry with a focus on U.S. and Canadian markets.

· Knowledge of IT product categories (hardware, software, SaaS, cloud services).

· Proven track record in contract negotiation and vendor management.

· Familiarity with procurement platforms and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa).

· Understanding of cross-border trade practices, and local tax implications.

· Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills.

Note: It’s a Full-time On-site job in Gulberg 3, Lahore

Timings: 6:00 PM to 3:00 AM / 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM / 8:00 PM to 5:00 AM Pakistan time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to Rs180,000.00 per month
