Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning and executing procurement activities for equipment, supplies, and services.
- Process purchase requisitions, prepare RFQs/RFPs, and obtain quotations in accordance with procurement policies.
- Evaluate quotations, prepare comparative statements, and support vendor selection.
- Coordinate with vendors for timely delivery and ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, purchase orders, and vendor databases.
- Support negotiation of prices, terms, and service-level agreements under guidance of the Manager.
- Ensure compliance with THF procurement policies, donor requirements, and audit standards.
- Coordinate with finance for invoice verification, payments, and budget alignment.
- Monitor stock levels in coordination with stores and recommend replenishment when required.
- Assist in procurement reporting, audits, and documentation.
- Perform any other procurement-related tasks assigned by management.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong understanding of procurement processes and documentation.
- Good negotiation, communication, and vendor management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and ERP/procurement systems (if applicable).
- Attention to detail with strong record-keeping and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- High level of integrity and compliance orientation.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience in procurement or supply chain management.
- Experience in the non-profit or development sector will be an added advantage.
