Assistant Manager Production

Job Summary

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Assistant Manager Production to support and oversee daily production operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the leather industry, strong coordination skills, and the ability to ensure production targets are met while maintaining quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Production Manager in planning, organizing, and monitoring daily production activities
• Ensure production targets are achieved as per quality, cost, and delivery timelines
• Supervise production staff and coordinate with line supervisors
• Monitor workflow, manpower utilization, and machine efficiency
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and company SOPs
• Identify production issues and implement corrective actions
• Coordinate with Quality Control, Store, and Maintenance departments
• Maintain production reports and documentation
• Ensure workplace safety and housekeeping standards

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or a related field
• 4–5 years of relevant production experience (leather industry preferred)
• Strong understanding of leather manufacturing processes
• Good leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word)
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
