Assistant Manager (Retail Industry)

The Assistant Manager (Retail) will support the day-to-day operations of the retail store, ensuring that the store meets its sales targets, delivers exceptional customer service, and operates efficiently. This role involves managing retail staff, overseeing inventory, maintaining store appearance, and implementing company policies to ensure a seamless and profitable retail experience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Management, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in retail management or a similar role, preferably in a supervisory capacity.
  • Proven experience in driving sales and managing a team within a retail environment.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
  • Proficient in retail management software, point of sale (POS) systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage store operations efficiently.
