Assistant Manager Structural Design

Purpose of the Job:

The selected candidate will be responsible to plan, design and deliver complete structural design of projects. He/She will coordinate and collaborate with other disciplines to deliver a well-organized and cohesive design. The candidate will be part of the site visit team to ensure adherence to the design and good construction practices on site.

Main Accountabilities:

• Analyze and interpret the configurations of fundamental structural components within buildings and other constructions.
• Lead the planning and design phases of structural engineering projects.
• Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary design teams, including architects, to ensure designs are structurally sound and align with the aesthetic vision of the construction.
• Make drawings, specifications and computer models of structures.
• Proficiently utilize specialized structural analysis software, including but not limited to ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, and Staad Pro.
• Have a in-depth understanding of design codes such as ACI-318, BCP-21, ASCE7-16, AISC, UBC-97, etc
• Assist in creating workflow templates to streamline processes and increase efficiency

Qualifications:

Minimum Graduation/Masters in Civil Engineering

Experience:

Minimum 6+ years of post-qualification experience in structural design of multi-story buildings
