ABOUT THE POSITION:
Formulatrix is seeking an
Assistant Marcom Manager
to drive marketing strategy and execution for our
Protein Crystallization and Tangential Flow Filtration (TFF)
product lines.
This role will lead marketing initiatives that support revenue growth, product adoption, and market development within structural biology, drug discovery, and bioprocessing workflows.
The ideal candidate combines
strong communication skills, marketing strategy experience, and hands-on execution across digital channels
. This individual will collaborate closely with Product Management, Sales, and Design teams to develop compelling marketing content, optimize campaigns, and ensure consistent messaging across global marketing channels.
This position is ideal for a marketing professional interested in becoming a
subject-matter expert in structural biology, proteomics, drug discovery, and protein sample preparation workflows.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Marketing Strategy & Product Positioning

Develop and execute marketing strategies to support growth of the Protein Crystallization and TFF product lines.

Collaborate with Product Managers to define product positioning, messaging, and value propositions for key customer segments.

Conduct market and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for new campaigns, content, and market expansion.
Campaign Development & Execution

Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital channels including website, email, social media, webinars, and industry events.

Coordinate marketing activities related to product launches, product updates, and new application releases.

Support development of demand generation initiatives to strengthen pipeline growth and lead quality.
Content Development & Marketing Assets

Develop and review marketing materials including webpages, application notes, brochures, blog posts, technical articles, and email campaigns.

Ensure all marketing content maintains high standards of scientific accuracy, clarity, and alignment with brand messaging.

Translate complex scientific workflows into clear, compelling marketing narratives.
Digital Marketing & Channel Optimization

Audit and optimize marketing channels including website content, SEO performance, social media, and email marketing.

Monitor campaign performance metrics and recommend improvements based on data-driven insights.

Manage and optimize marketing automation workflows using platforms such as HubSpot.
Cross-Functional Collaboration

Conduct regular marketing reviews with Product Managers to identify new marketing opportunities and prioritize updates.

Work with Design and Content teams to develop and execute marketing assets.

Collaborate with Sales teams to create customer-facing materials and sales enablement resources.
Project & Team Coordination

Coordinate and schedule marketing communication team activities to ensure timely execution of campaigns and marketing initiatives.

Manage multiple projects and deadlines while maintaining high quality standards.
REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree in
Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field
.

3+ years of experience
in marketing communications, product marketing, or digital marketing.

Strong hands-on experience managing
digital marketing channels
including websites, email marketing, and social media.

Experience working cross-functionally with
Product Management, Sales, and Design teams
.

Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Strong analytical, organizational, and project management abilities.

Experience using
marketing automation or CRM platforms such as HubSpot
.

Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
