Job Description:

We're looking for a Customer Lifecycle Manager to own the full customer journey, from first touch to loyal advocate. You'll build and manage automation workflows across Email, Push, SMS, and In-App channels using tools like Braze, HubSpot, or Iterable, delivering personalized experiences that drive activation and reduce churn.


Beyond execution, you'll dig into behavioral data to segment audiences, run A/B tests, and own core KPIs like LTV, Conversion Rate, and revenue lift. You'll also work cross-functionally with Product, Creative, Sales, and Support to make sure every customer touchpoint lands at the right time with the right message.


Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Lifecycle Strategy & Journey Mapping

- End-to-End Ownership: Define and map the customer journey stages from "Lead" to "Promoter." Identify friction points where users drop off and develop automated interventions to keep them engaged.

- Onboarding Excellence: Build and optimize the "First 30 Days" experience to ensure new users reach their "Aha!" moment as quickly as possible.

- Retention & Churn Mitigation: Develop proactive "At-Risk" triggers. Use behavioral data to identify users likely to churn and deploy automated win-back or discount campaigns.


2. Multi-Channel Execution (The Tech Stack)

- Automation Management: Build complex, branching logic workflows in CRM tools (e.g., Braze, HubSpot, Salesforce, or Iterable).

- Omni-channel Orchestration: Sync messaging across Email, Push Notifications, In-App Modals, SMS, and Direct Mail to ensure a non-repetitive, cohesive experience.

- Dynamic Content: Implement personalization tokens and liquid logic to ensure every communication feels 1-to-1 rather than 1-to-many.


3. Data Analysis & Segmentation

- Behavioral Segmentation: Move beyond basic demographics to segment users based on product usage frequency, feature adoption, and purchase intent.

- Performance Tracking: Own the reporting for core KPIs: Open Rates, CTR, Conversion Rate, Churn Rate, LTV, and incremental revenue lift.

- A/B Testing Framework: Maintain a continuous testing roadmap for subject lines, send times, CTA placement, and offer types.


4. Cross-Functional Collaboration

- Product Team: Partner with Product Managers to align in-app marketing with new feature launches.

- Creative Team: Brief copywriters and designers on the specific psychological triggers needed for different lifecycle stages.

- Sales/Support: Ensure marketing automation doesn’t "step on the toes" of active sales cycles or open support tickets.


Requirements:

- 6+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, CRM, or retention marketing, preferably in a fast-paced or product-led environment.

- Hands-on experience with marketing automation platforms such as Braze, HubSpot, Salesforce, or Iterable, including building complex, branching workflows.

- Strong understanding of omni-channel marketing across Email, Push Notifications, In-App, SMS, and Direct Mail.

- Proven ability to segment audiences beyond demographics, using behavioral data, product usage patterns, and purchase intent signals.

- Comfortable owning and reporting on KPIs like Open Rates, CTR, Churn Rate, LTV, Conversion Rate, and incremental revenue lift.

- Experience running structured A/B testing programs across messaging, timing, and offer types.

- Familiarity with dynamic content, personalization tokens, and liquid logic to deliver tailored communication at scale.

- Strong cross-functional communicator who can collaborate effectively with Product, Creative, Sales, and Support teams.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable lifecycle strategies.
