Assistant Mechanic (Automobiles)

Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Mechanic to support our skilled mechanics in maintaining and repairing a wide range of vehicles. This role is perfect for someone eager to learn and grow in the automotive industry, with ample opportunities for professional development.

Minimum requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in the related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training in automotive repair is a plus.
• Basic understanding of vehicle systems and components.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced mechanics.

Key responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Assist lead mechanics in diagnosing and repairing automotive issues.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
• Help maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Ensure tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
• Communicate effectively with team members and provide excellent customer service.
