Assistant Officer Operations

We are a leading knits garment manufacturing firm based in Karachi, specializing in high-quality knitwear production. Our operations focus on efficient processes, quality control, and timely delivery to global markets. We are seeking a dedicated professional to support our Production and Operations Head in streamlining data management and reporting.

Position Title:Assistant / Data Entry Operator (DEO)

Location:*Karachi, Sindh, Pakistan

Reports To:Knits Production & Operations Head

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle and manage large datasets related to production, inventory, and operations with accuracy and efficiency.

- Prepare detailed reports and analytics to support decision-making in the knits manufacturing process.

- Fetch and extract data from ERP systems for operational insights.

- Create process flow diagrams, charts, and visualizations as required to map out production workflows, bottlenecks, and improvements.

- Maintain records, update databases, and ensure data integrity across various office applications.

- Assist in administrative tasks, including correspondence, scheduling, and documentation in English.

- Collaborate with the operations team to apply textile knowledge in data-driven enhancements for knits garment production.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Textile Management, or a related field.

- Proven expertise in data handling, analysis, and reporting.

- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, VBA/macros, and data visualization tools like charts and Power Query).

- Strong skills in other Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

- Experience with ERP systems for data retrieval and integration; familiarity with textile industry ERPs is a plus.

- Ability to create process flow diagrams using tools like Microsoft Visio, or similar.

- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills for professional reporting and documentation.

- Basic knowledge of the textile industry, particularly knits garments (e.g., understanding of fabric types, production stages like knitting, cutting, sewing, and finishing).

- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Preferred Attributes:

- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role within the textile or manufacturing sector.

- Quick learner with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

- Immediate availability for joining to ensure seamless support to ongoing operations.
