About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Operations Manager to oversee and optimize our logistics and warehousing operations. The ideal candidate will bring strong operational insight, a problem-solving mindset, and hands-on experience in managing end-to-end supply chain processes. Preference will be given to candidates from the FMCG industry, though others with relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day logistics and warehouse operations to ensure smooth, cost-effective, and timely movement of goods.
• Manage inbound and outbound logistics including coordination with transporters, vendors, and internal teams.
• Ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained; monitor stock movement and lead periodic stock audits.
• Oversee warehouse layout planning, storage methods, and material handling to maximize space utilization and efficiency.
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for warehousing, dispatch, and logistics.
• Monitor KPIs related to logistics performance – delivery timelines, order accuracy, inventory accuracy, and cost controls.
• Coordinate with procurement, sales, and production teams to streamline supply chain operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
• Drive process improvements through automation, system enhancements, and staff training.
• Manage and train warehouse and logistics staff to improve performance and accountability.

Key Requirements:

• Education: Graduate in any discipline (Bachelor’s Degree)
• Experience: Minimum 4 years in logistics and warehouse management
• Industry Preference: FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) or related sectors
• Strong understanding of supply chain processes, warehouse systems, and logistics software.
• Hands-on experience with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems), ERP tools, and inventory control.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and team management skills.
• Ability to analyze data, generate reports, and drive data-driven decisions.
• Willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹28,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
