About the Job:

An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Outlet Manager to join the F&B Service Team in Jumeirah Beach Hotel. The main duties and responsibilities of this role include:

• Manage day to day operation of the department, ensuring all service standards are met in line with standard operating procedures.
• Assist the Outlet Manager in continuously growing the business and ensuring guests are served to brand standards.
• Engage in guest interaction, create personalised experiences and maintain accurate record of regular guests.
• Ensure all resources for efficient operation are in place; take routine inventories and re order operating supplies when necessary.
• Safeguard cash and complete all paperwork in accordance with company policy.
• Monitor the cashiering function and ensure compliance with Cashiering Procedures.
• Place orders associated with Operations, F&B, Refurbishment, Culinary and other departments on time and in line with budget and business requirements.
• Understand General Ledger requirements and investigate any issues; highlight budgetary deficits where appropriate.
• Assist in preparing annual plans and forecasts, manage expenses to meet departmental budgetary goals and maximize profitability by controlling labour and expenses.
• Suggest ways to increase market share for the Outlet, optimise profits and increase sales.

About You:

• Experience in an Assistant Outlet Manager role with a strong F&B background in a similar restaurant.
• Fluent in English with an additional international language.
• Passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences.
• Good financial acumen, including experience with budgeting, cost control and increasing profitability.
