Assistant Pastry Chef

This is a full-time, on-site role at Biblo Bakery & Cafe in Bahrain.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Assistant Pastry Chef to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in baking and pastry arts, with a passion for creating delicious and visually appealing bakery items.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation and production of a variety of pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
• Ensure all bakery items are made to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
• Follow recipes and techniques to produce consistent results.
• Decorate and present pastries and baked goods in an attractive manner.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.
• Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and menu items.
• Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Requirements:

• Must be currently available in Bahrain.
• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Assistant Pastry Chef in a bakery or similar setting for minimum of 5 years.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques and pastry arts.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
• Excellent attention to detail and creativity.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred.
