POSITION OVERVIEW

Roofing Angels is seeking an Assistant Production Manager to work closely with our Production Team to ensure roofing projects are executed accurately, efficiently, and in alignment with company standards.

This role requires strong production awareness, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple active projects simultaneously in a fast-paced remote environment. The ideal candidate is highly organized, technologically proficient, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership with minimal supervision.

You will play a critical role in maintaining workflow discipline, preventing costly errors, and ensuring seamless communication between field crews, internal teams, and homeowners.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

PRODUCTION COORDINATION & OVERSIGHT

• Review approved projects and verify key project details before production scheduling
• Assist in coordinating job start dates and production timelines
• Maintain internal production tracking tools and ensure job progress is documented
• Support scheduling adjustments when projects shift or require updates

FIELD & CREW COMMUNICATION

• Communicate with field crews to monitor job progress and daily activity
• Review job site photos and updates to ensure work aligns with project expectations
• Identify potential discrepancies early and coordinate follow-up when needed
• Assist with coordinating return visits, adjustments, or incomplete work items

DOCUMENTATION & SYSTEMS MANAGEMENT

• Maintain organized job files and ensure documentation is uploaded and tracked properly
• Record project updates, approvals, and changes within the company CRM system
• Support internal reporting by keeping project records accurate and current

CUSTOMER COMMUNICATION

• Provide project updates to homeowners through company communication tools
• Assist with scheduling coordination and inspection preparation
• Help ensure homeowners remain informed throughout the production process

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• 1–2 years of roofing, construction, or production coordination experience required
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a strong plus but not required
• Demonstrated understanding of roofing production workflow
• Experience with AccuLynx or similar roofing CRM strongly preferred
• Ability to audit job site photos and identify scope discrepancies or quality concerns
• Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational discipline
• Quick learner with strong technical aptitude - must be comfortable navigating multiple applications, digital systems, and communication platforms efficiently
• Proactive mindset - anticipates issues and addresses them before escalation
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
• Must be available to work full-time during Pacific Time business hours and occasionally outside standard hours when production needs require
• Must have a reliable home office setup and high-speed internet
• Must be comfortable working independently in a fully remote environment

COMPENSATION & GROWTH

• $50,000 – $70,000 annually based on experience
