We are seeking a skilled Assistant Project Manager with a background in architecture or, engineering design to join our Integrated Design Leadership team within the Property & Buildings department. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects, supporting the delivery of innovative and sustainable design solutions from concept to construction.


  • Support the planning, coordination and execution of large, complex design projects.
  • Understand our project contract, scope, and deliverables to ensure accurate execution.
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary design and delivery teams to ensure alignment with project requirements and timelines.
  • Communicate updates, actions and priorities to the project team effectively and efficiently.
  • Support the project lead in communications with the client and stakeholders.
  • Support delivery against the project programme, working with disciplines to ensure collaborative updates and accurate resource allocation.
  • Review design outputs to ensure they meet quality standards and project specifications.
  • Support the coordination with internal teams and authorities to ensure alignment and approvals.
  • Provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and issues to the Project Manager.
  • Participate in project and team meetings, contributing to collaborative problem-solving and decision-making.
  • Support the delivery of the Business Unit (BU) strategy, including sustainability and innovation goals.
  • Identify and report business development opportunities and client engagement prospects.
  • Stay current with technical developments and best practices in architecture and engineering.

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Project Management or related field
  • 2-5 years of experience in design and/or project management within the Property & Buildings sector.
  • Strong understanding of integrated design delivery processes and multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to manage tasks, prioritize effectively, and work under pressure.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and design software (e.g., Revit, AutoCAD, MS Project).
