Description
Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist project manager to ensure proper timelines and all requirements are met for all projects.

Help with billing, change orders, collections, etc. to ensure timely completion.

Keep the management staff up to date on all project issues.
-
Review job cost, job status, manpower and change order reports to provide analysis on a monthly basis with project manager/project management team.
-
Attend regular/monthly job cost reviews to accurately reflect project profitability and status of all project issues.
-
Communicate and troubleshoot with project manager, project superintendents, construction managers and General Contractors.
-
Communicate effectively with all project managers, administrative assistants and other departments through meetings, memos, e-mails, etc.
-
Assist with coordination proper manpower and equipment for each job.
-
Conduct/attend weekly job-site visits and job meetings.
-
Assist with proper job setup and contract review. Help to ensure that estimated costs and schedule of values are done in a timely and accurate manner.

Generate project manager reports and attend project management meetings as appropriate.
-
For each project: track submittals, generate purchase orders and negotiate subcontracts and purchases.
-
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications And Experience

Experience/Qualifications Required:
-
Minimum of 5 years Mechanical Industry experience and/or related educational background.
-
Prior project management experience a plus.
-
Job Skills:
-
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
-
Knowledge of general plumbing and piping installation.
-
Good math ability and general accounting skills.
-
General computer skills.
-
Detail oriented.

Strong organizational skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Education:
-
Minimum of High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
-
Trade school a plus.

Physical Requirements:

Able to walk job sites.
-
Capable of climbing off/on equipment and ladders.

Special Requirements:

Valid Driver’s License

OSHA 10 Certified
