  • $85,000 – $100,000 base salary (experience dependent)

Tiello is partnered with a rapidly growing NYC-based building envelope contractor specializing in roofing, waterproofing, and exterior restoration . This team delivers complex, high-profile projects across New York City and is known for strong execution, modern construction practices, and a disciplined project management culture.


The Roofing & Waterproofing division is one of the fastest-growing business units within the organization, utilizing premium systems from manufacturers such as Siplast, Sika, Soprema, Kemper , and similar.


Role Summary:

The Assistant Project Manager will support the Director of Roofing & Waterproofing and Senior Project Managers in executing exterior construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. This is a hands-on, growth-oriented role designed for someone who wants real responsibility, exposure, and a clear runway into a full PM seat.


This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage documentation, coordination, and compliance in a fast-paced NYC construction environment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with project setup, documentation, and execution from award through closeout

• Review materials and identify long-lead items early in the project lifecycle

• Research material sourcing options and support procurement efforts

• Assist with project schedules and manpower forecasting

• Track budgets, schedules, and project deliverables

• Coordinate with drafting teams to ensure compliance with NYC codes and regulations

• Assist with preparation and review of shop drawings and fabrication details

• Support permitting and licensing in coordination with preconstruction teams

• Maintain accurate, organized project documentation

• Support communication between field teams, vendors, and leadership


Qualifications / Requirements:

• 2–4 years of experience in construction project coordination or APM role

• Exposure to roofing, waterproofing, or exterior restoration strongly preferred

• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

• Strong organizational and documentation skills

• Familiarity with NYC construction regulations a plus

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and eager to grow

• Authorized to work in the United States
