Assistant Project Manager – Construction (Kitchen Renovations)

We are looking for a Project Manager experienced in kitchen renovations, construction coordination, and site supervision.
This role requires someone who can handle multiple renovation projects at once, communicate with clients, manage installers, coordinate materials, and ensure every project is completed on time, on budget, and with high quality.

This role needs strong responsibility, follow-up, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities Project Planning & Coordination

• Plan, schedule, and organize kitchen renovation projects from start to finish.
• Coordinate with designers, installers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Create daily/weekly project plans and share updates with management.
• Ensure all materials (cabinets, countertops, hardware, fixtures, tiles) are ordered and delivered on time.

Work Site Supervision

• Monitor project sites & progress closely.
• Ensure installation, plumbing, electrical, drywall, tiling, and finishing work follow standards.
• Identify site issues and solve them promptly to avoid delays.
• Maintain quality control throughout the renovation process.

Client Communication

• Provide timely updates to clients and maintain a positive relationship.
• Handle client queries, concerns, or changes during the project.
• Coordinate site visits, measurements, design confirmations, and final inspections.

Team & Vendor Management

• Manage installers, contractors, tradespeople, and labor teams.
• Assign work tasks clearly and ensure they are completed as per plan.
• Maintain discipline, safety, and work quality at all job sites.
• Coordinate with suppliers and ensure timely delivery of materials.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain project files: timelines, material lists, expense sheets, and daily reports.
• Track project budgets and costs to prevent overruns.
• Keep record of site issues, delays, and resolutions.
• Provide progress updates to management on each project.

Requirements

• Experience in construction project management, preferably kitchen or home renovations.
• Strong understanding of installation, carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and finishing processes.
• Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
• Good communication skills for dealing with clients, subcontractors, and management.
• Strong follow-up skills and problem-solving mindset.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, WhatsApp, Google Sheets, project tracking tools).
• Valid driving license (if travel between job sites is required).
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver projects on deadlines.
