Assistant Relationship Manager-Large Corporate

Accountabilities & Key Roles:


  • Prepare Industry Studies, Credit Memos, Financial Modeling and Financial Spreading for CIB Customers/ Prospect Customers
  • Analyze and evaluating credit data and financial statements to determine the level of risk and assisting on the credit facility structure, collaterals and terms & conditions
  • Liaise with enabling functions [Credit Department, Credit Administration, Legal and Compliance, Back Office functions] in day to day operations and during periodic reviews of relationships
  • Shadow SRMs/ RMs on Sales/Client Calls and acts as a secondary point of contact for designated portfolio
  • Update CIB customer profiles/ pending docs
  • Ensure compliance with Corporate & Institutional Banking policies and adhering to service quality standards
  • Process day to day transactions in coordination with assigned SRMs/ RMs and obtain necessary approvals, as required
  • Prepare Credit Recommendation Proposals
  • Prepare detailed Call Reports;
  • Assist the SRMs/ RMs in account planning exercise and following up with product teams to deliver on new business opportunities, internal cross selling targets and customers requirements;
  • Review reports “ accrued, excess, past dues….etc.”
  • Update relevant SRM/ RM with periodic evaluation report for customers’ portfolio through continuous monitoring of customers accounts;
  • Update CIB customer profiles with required data as per AB requirements (KYC ,CIS ,etc.).


Job Requirements:


Education:

  • University Degree in Business or related fields with a major in Business, Finance or Accounting
  • Specialized Credit Course

Experience:

  • Min 4 years of experience in a leading Financial Institution/bank

Competences:

  • Good interpersonal, negotiation, communication, presentation and analytical skills;
  • Proven ability to work within a team;
  • Ability to work under pressure;
  • Good in Target Market Language & English Language;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office [Excel, Power Point and Word];
  • Good understanding of banking products and services;
  • Good understanding of lending practices;
