We are looking for Assistant Restaurant Manager to assist the Branch Manager to the daily operations of the restaurant. They will strive to enhance restaurant performance, capitalize on sales opportunities, maximize profitability, and elevate customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Support to manages the restaurant overall activities.
  • Cover the manager on his off/ vacation days
  • Achieves objectives through appropriate planning, organization of staff, inventory management, cost control and maximization of the restaurant sales and profits.
  • Provides senior management with all necessary data and statistics relating to restaurant sales and performance, to assist them in their decision-making process.
  • Support and supervises the opening & closing of the restaurant.
  • Maintains safe working conditions for employees and customers; resolves safety concerns quickly.
  • Follow up on Maintenance issues.
  • Direct cleaning of kitchen and dining areas to maintain sanitation standards and keep appropriate records.
  • Ensure the proper appearance (condition of uniforms) and grooming of assigned staff members and personal hygiene.
  • Follows-up on the rotation schedule of new employees and trainees.
  • Collaborates with the HR Department to ensure the proper administration of employees’ annual leave.
  • Provides services that are above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Record daily entries such as petty cash, meal transfers, Purchase, and daily inventory on Smartsheet, with weekly and monthly updates.
  • Follow up on all applications and ensure the availability of all meals to enhance and increase sales.
  • Follow up on suppliers’ orders by using bar level according to sales.
  • Empowers employees to provide excellent customer service.
  • Handles guest problems and complaints.
  • Manages service delivery in the restaurant to ensure excellent service from point of entry to departure.
  • Observes compliance with Maraheb Restaurant policies and procedures, as well as governmental laws and regulations.
  • Follow up with the kitchen in charge to inspect the quality of received items and coordinate to verify the expiration dates of food items.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in restaurant
  • HACCP certified is a plus.
  • Fluency in English / Arabic.
  • Excellent financial acumen and analytical abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive problem-solving approach.
  • Detail-oriented and committed to quality.
