Assistant Stock Control Analyst

Job Summary

This role is responsible for performing and supporting the daily operations of warehouse and distribution activities for specialized commodity groups. The objective is to ensure timely and reliable delivery of stock items to customers.

Key Accountabilities

• Comply with unit policies and procedures.
• Follow assigned work schedules.
• Fulfill assigned responsibilities.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Attend and participate in training sessions.
• Prepare and submit performance reports as required.
• Report to the Stock Control Analyst and carry out warehouse operations according to schedules, ensuring timely and accurate receipt, stocking, and issuance of goods.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of warehouse operations and specialized commodity groups.
• Receive goods cleared by customs, inspect them, and ensure proper documentation and issuance.
• Inspect goods and enter details into the system, noting discrepancies and rejecting damaged items or arranging for corrections.
• Coordinate delivery of items to end-users or place them in storage.
• Process internal requests for consumption or transfer of goods, as well as external requests, including obtaining approvals and physically transferring items.
• Assist in picking, packing, and shipping, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
• Support logistics activities, including managing product recalls, returns, and exchanges, after authorization.
• Conduct physical inventory counts throughout the year to ensure accuracy.
• Assist end-users and follow up on supply-related customer service requests.
• Maintain a safe and compliant work environment by following health and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Job Requirements

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Note: This role aligns with the Educational Equivalence Chart for promotion or redesignation, subject to approval from Chiefs of Facilities or CEOs.

Experience:

• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR6,000.00 per month
