Job description:

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, check, and record deliveries of food, beverages, and supplies.
  • Maintain accurate stock levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
  • Conduct regular inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
  • Use inventory software or manual logs to track movements.
  • Ensure proper storage conditions (temperature, humidity, hygiene) for perishable and non-perishable items.
  • Label and arrange items systematically for easy retrieval.
  • Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) methods to minimize waste.
  • Work closely with kitchen, bar, and service teams to supply requested items promptly.
  • Communicate shortages or delays to relevant departments.
  • Support purchasing by reporting stock consumption trends.
  • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in storage areas.
  • Follow food safety standards (HACCP, ISO).
  • Ensure safe handling of heavy loads using proper equipment.
  • Prepare daily stock reports for management.
  • Record damaged, expired, or returned goods.
  • Assist in audits and inspections by providing accurate records.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in the Food & Beverage industry.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Hands-on experience with inventory system management.
  • Fluent in English (spoken and written).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of food safety and storage practices.
