Role Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Store Keeper to support store operations, manage inventory, and ensure smooth handling of building materials. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in warehouse/store management within the building materials sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Inventory Management:
• Assist in receiving, storing, and issuing building materials and supplies.
• Stock Control:

Maintain accurate stock records and perform periodic stock checks.

• Material Handling:

Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and storage of materials to prevent damage.Prepare delivery notes, goods receipt notes, and maintain store-related documentation.Work closely with the procurement and operations teams for timely material availability.Maintain cleanliness and follow safety standards in the store area.Assist the Store Keeper in preparing daily/weekly inventory and material usage reports.Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (Diploma in Supply Chain/Store Management preferred)
• 2–4 years’ experience in store/warehouse operations, preferably in building materials
• Knowledge of inventory systems and material handling procedures
• Basic computer skills (MS Office, inventory software)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Good communication and teamwork skills
