Assistant Store Manager

Assistant Store Manager - For Saudis only Mission

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in creating an environment that will provide a premium consumer and employee experience and in implementing and executing programs to drive business results. They are responsible for creating, as well as maintaining, long term relationships with customers so as to represent the store in a positive manner, achieve sales goals, and drive further business. They support the Store Manager in actions to boost sales. As the brand's primary ambassadors, they welcome, serve and accompany customers alongside their Sales Associates, maintaining exemplary behavior at all times.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all store management functions in the absence of the Store Manager.
  • Support the store managers to increase sales and profitability of the sales floor by transmitting daily sales goals to the team members.
  • Support the Store Manager in setting suitable targets for the team and managing commercial activity.
  • Drive and follow up on KPIs (ATV, UPT, and conversion rate) and work with Linkage book.
  • Guarantee excellent customer service throughout the team by applying the 6 selling steps: Store preparation, Welcome, Ask, Try it on, Close the sale, Happy Customer.
  • Maximise sales opportunities by mastering the spontaneous approach, complementary sales through upselling and cross selling.
  • Support the Store Manager in leading the team.
  • Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of business support staff.
  • Lead by example to guarantee excellent service and build a customer database.
  • Support the Store Manager in understanding the competitive environment and identifying opportunities for commercial development.
  • Help determine daily priorities, challenges, zoning, etc.
  • Actively participate in the implementation and success of sales campaigns that galvanise the store.
  • Support the Store Manager in developing and motivating the team, ensuring they are well versed in our products and services, history, visual merchandising, and sales to create a work environment conducive to hitting sales targets.
  • Manage timetables according to the team's needs and restrictions.
  • Ensure that established strategies and procedures are respected and that daily operations are correctly carried out, whether in front or back office.
  • Support the Store Manager in organising and conducting team meetings, weekly meetings, etc.
  • Maintain perfect store appearance and product presentation (display cases, counters, furniture) and ensure cleanliness.
  • Ensure that various customer services are offered regularly (repairs, exchange, gift vouchers, postal delivery, etc.).
  • Remain alert at all times to prevent potential theft and minimise this risk.
  • Support the Store Manager in ensuring stock levels meet store needs.
  • Support the Store Manager in organising and conducting inventory.
  • Transfer Brand values to the team.
  • Keep abreast of market trends and future opportunities.
