Assistant Teacher (Nursery / Early Years)

Location: Tulip Nursery, Al Azra, Sharjah, UAE
Work Type: Full-Time
Working Days: Monday to Saturday
Timings: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma in Early Childhood Education / CACHE Level 2 or equivalent (preferred).
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience in a nursery or early years setting within the UAE.
• Familiarity with the EYFS framework and willingness to assist the class teacher in daily routines and activities.
• Bilingual candidates (English + Arabic / Hindi / Tagalog) are preferred.
• Warm, patient, and caring personality with a genuine love for young children.
• Must be responsible, punctual, cooperative, and able to follow instructions.
• Willing to handle rotational duties within the nursery as assigned (classroom, play area, lunch supervision, grooming, etc.).
• Ability to assist in child hygiene, feeding, and classroom setup.
• Candidates with First Aid / CPR certification will be given preference.
• Must hold attested educational certificates and be eligible for SPEA approval.

Core Responsibilities

• Support the Class Teacher in implementing lessons, activities, and circle time.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and child-friendly classroom at all times.
• Assist children during meals, nap time, outdoor play, and creative learning.
• Engage children positively to support their social, emotional, and physical development.
• Prepare materials for art, craft, and sensory activities.
• Support with toileting, grooming, and changing routines when required.
• Observe and report children’s participation and progress to the teacher.
• Participate in nursery events, celebrations, and classroom decorations.
