1. Examination Administration

  • Assist with the registration and entry of candidates for all public and internal examinations.
  • Maintain accurate records of candidate data, entries and results using the relevant management systems.
  • Liaise with awarding bodies, staff and students to ensure deadlines and requirements are met.

2. Exam Preparation and Delivery

  • Help with the timetabling and scheduling of exams in coordination with the Exams Manager.
  • Organise and prepare exam rooms in line with JCQ (or relevant regulatory body) requirements.
  • Ensure all necessary materials, equipment and documentation are available for each examination session.

3. Invigilation Management

  • Assist with the recruitment, training and scheduling of invigilators.
  • Maintain accurate invigilator records, including availability and timesheets.
  • Act as an invigilator when required to ensure the smooth running of exams.

4. Post-Examination Duties

  • Support the secure collection, handling and dispatch of examination scripts.
  • Organise the distribution and storage of examination certificates.
  • Assist in the production and verification of student transcripts and other exam-related documentation.

5. General Administration

  • Respond promptly to queries from students, staff, parents and awarding bodies.
  • Maintain confidentiality and data protection compliance at all times.
  • Undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Exams Manager and other members of SLT
