Assistant Toddler Teacher

Job Description

Little Stampede Learning Co. is seeking a caring and dependable Assistant Toddler Teacher to support the Lead Teacher in maintaining a safe, structured, and engaging classroom for children ages 18 months–3 years. This role focuses on assisting with daily routines, supervision, and creating a positive learning environment. The position will be 8:30-4:30 Tuesday’s and Thursday’s with additional hours possible.

Responsibilities

• Support the Lead Teacher in daily classroom routines
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized environment
• Assist with supervising children during activities, meals, and rest time
• Engage with children through play and hands-on learning
• Encourage positive behavior and independence
• Communicate respectfully with team members and families
• Follow all NYS OCFS regulations and center policies

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent (required)
• Experience working with young children preferred
• Willingness to learn and grow in early childhood education
• Reliable, patient, and team-oriented
