Assistant/Associate Professor - Finance

The College of Business at Zayed University is seeking individuals who can contribute to our faculty team in all areas of Finance at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. We anticipate that successful candidates will be teaching in one (or more) of the following areas:

Corporate Finance, International Corporate Finance, Special topics of Corporate Finance (i.e., mergers and acquisitions, dividend policy, LBOs, Corporate Governance, etc.), Portfolio Analysis and Management, Alternative Investments, Financial Derivatives, Financial Econometrics, Financial Statements Analysis, Financial Markets and Institutions, Commercial Banking, Banking Risk Management, Islamic Banking and Finance, Valuation Models, Financial Planning and Modelling, etc.

Our highly qualified faculty represent the world's leading accredited universities, many of whom bring long experience of teaching in excellent institutions. They are dedicated to helping our students learn. They are recognized experts in their field through their active research, publications in leading academic journals, and regular participation in international conferences.

Successful candidates are expected to conduct high-quality and impactful financial research leading to publications in recognized top-tiered journals and actively perform appropriate departmental, college, and university service.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Finance from an accredited university that is, or can be, recognized by the UAE Ministry of Education . Degrees from AACSB-accredited universities are strongly preferred.
• CFA-qualified candidates and candidates with graduate teaching experience are encouraged to apply, as are candidates who have knowledge of and experience in teaching using a Bloomberg lab.
• The candidate should demonstrate an established excellent research record showing potential to publish in leading academic journals alongside a commitment to effective high-quality teaching and a commitment to service.
