Full Job Description

Growing and vibrant insurance and public entity defense law firm seeks associate with 0-10 years of experience to join busy insurance and public entity defense litigation practice, which already has 13 attorneys and continues to grow. Ideal applicant will have a desire to be a litigator. This job will have the new associate in court hearings and depositions immediately and regularly, in state and federal courts throughout the state. Responsibilities:

Associate attorneys are to provide all legal work of an associate attorney, including conducting legal research, drafting documents (e.g. motions, discovery responses, legal analysis memorandum, and etc.). Further, associate attorneys shall prepare in that end court hearings and depositions at the direction of the Trial Attorney. Moreover, associate attorneys are expected to participate in the strategic and analytical development of each case. Finally, associate attorneys will be responsible for recording and meeting the billable hour requirement for the position.
