Associate Attorney

We are looking for an Associate Attorney to join our growing law firm. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in business litigation, excellent writing and research skills, and a commitment to client service.

Responsibilities

• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Conduct legal research and analysis.
• Prepare for and participate in pretrials, discovery practice, motion practice, trials, and hearings.
• Represent clients in arbitrations, mediations, and negotiations.
• Strong computer skills, including knowledge of NYSCEF and PACER.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Admitted to the New York Bar in good standing.
• 1-3 years of experience in a law firm or legal department.
• Strong academic record.
• Excellent writing and research skills.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
