Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Califonia Associate Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in various areas of law, including but not limited to estate planning, landlord-tenant law, civil litigation, and family law. This role requires excellent negotiation skills, legal research capabilities, and the ability to draft legal documents effectively. The Associate Attorney will work closely with clients, providing legal advice and representation while ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations.

Duties

  • Provide legal counsel and representation in areas such as estate planning, landlord-tenant law, family law, securities law, personal injury law, and civil litigation.
  • Conduct thorough legal research using tools such as LexisNexis and Westlaw to support case preparation and strategy development.
  • Draft legal documents including contracts, pleadings, motions, and other necessary paperwork with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients while advocating for their best interests.
  • Prepare for and participate in litigation proceedings as required.
  • Maintain organized case files and ensure all documentation is up-to-date within the law office.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys on complex cases to enhance professional development and gain insights into advanced legal practices.

Experience

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required.
  • Admission to the CALIFORNIA state bar is mandatory for practice.
  • Prior experience in a law office setting is preferred; familiarity with various areas of law is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated skills in legal writing, drafting documents, negotiation, and research are essential for success in this role.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $115,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
