Associate Attorney – Personal Injury

Job Summary:
A well-established, AV-rated personal injury law firm with a strong presence across Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia is seeking a driven and detail-oriented Associate Attorney with 2–5 years of legal experience, preferably in personal injury litigation.

The successful candidate will manage their own litigation caseload while also collaborating with partners on complex matters. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney seeking growth in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently manage a personal injury litigation caseload from intake to resolution
• Conduct client interviews and case evaluations
• Draft and respond to pleadings, discovery, and motions
• Participate in settlement negotiations, depositions, and court appearances
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys on complex or high-value cases
• Maintain timely and detailed case records and communications

Qualifications:

• Active license to practice in Washington, DC and either Maryland or Virginia
• Licensure in all three jurisdictions is highly desirable
• 2–5 years of litigation experience, preferably in personal injury law
• Excellent legal research, writing, and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines
• A self-starter with strong client service skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
