Overview
Kohn Law Firm S.C. is a nationally recognized creditor’s rights firm based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin that handles debt collection, tort, and litigation services in Wisconsin and Illinois.
We are currently seeking an Associate Attorney to work with our office in Milwaukee and handle matters throughout the state of Wisconsin. There would be an opportunity to work from home for a portion of the workweek.
Responsibilities and Requirements
The Associate Attorney will be responsible for handling files throughout the litigation process. The position will involve assessing enforcement options on files in the office, litigating various matters and making court appearances. Depending on experience and background, the candidate would have opportunities to handle tort/subrogation files, other loan and credit card collection cases and/or post-judgment work. The applicant will need to be highly organized and have excellent communication skills.
Experience in collections or litigation is a plus, and will be considered in compensation, but we have a track record of success in training new graduates or attorneys with some experience who are new to this area of law. Highly motivated attorneys are strongly encouraged to apply.
Applicants must be licensed to practice law in Wisconsin on or before the date of hire.
Compensation and Benefits
