Job Summary

IBM seeks an Associate Designer experienced in developing human-centered UI & UX for digital products and services. Based in MEA and reporting to a design leader in the IBM iX Dubai Design Studio, you will support the design and development of customer and employee digital experiences for IBM clients in the Middle East that delight users, drive business outcomes, adhere to brand design systems and utilize AI in the production workflow.

Responsibilities:

As part of the Enterprise Experience Practice, your primary duties encompass several critical areas:

• Participate in research activities to understand user pain points, jobs to be done, and user experience solutions
• Create visually engaging, accessible and usable digital experiences using Adobe and Figma software (concept boards, wireframes, layouts, prototypes, etc.) as well as compelling marketing content tailored to specific markets and industries.
• Build impactful presentations in PowerPoint, Keynote and Figma suitable for client meetings, executive briefings, and broader corporate communications.
• Experience with video production, 3D animation and AR/VR/XR design principles is highly encouraged

Required experience and skills:

• Formal education (or commensurate experience) in graphic design, digital product & service design, motion graphics, and web technologies.
• Familiarity with Design Thinking methods and facilitation
• Strong portfolio that reflects your creative process, innovative ideas, craft skills, and attention to detail.
• Clear understanding of contemporary design principles (including the impact of AI) coupled with intermediate-to-advanced proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and similar tools.
• Demonstrably strong communication and collaboration skills that enable seamless interaction with colleagues and external parties alike.
• Excellent project planning acumen ensuring adherence to deadlines without compromising output quality.
• Previous experience handling simultaneous assignments under pressure and your resourcefulness to solve problems quickly.

• Demonstrate skills in communication, teamwork, curiosity, willingness to take feedback and learn, (measured) risk taking, innovation, and business outcomes.
• Maintain at least 85% billable utilization on client projects
• Earn internal recognition and endorsement from colleagues
