In this role, you will:

  • Delivery Management and Agile lead for Open Finance program is very critical to the overall success of this important regulatory program for UAE for next couple of years.
  • The individual will be responsible for managing the overall governance working closely with stakeholders from IWPB, OBSS and Wholesale across business, IT and control functions.
  • Complex regional team management with budgets and managing global stakeholder expectations, OBSS leadership and supplier teams and our extended teams in China, UK and India.
  • Responsible for conducting PWG’s, Steercos and CxO communication, PI planning workshops.
  • The region has additional layer of complexity as IT team is expected to participate in regional business working group meetings and follow regional processes alongside group’s Agile WoW, with the interdependency of the multiple workstreams involved from India and China teams.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

  • Working with the Product Managers to establish effective controls, procedures and quality assurance processes for the product, in line with the BTF and Group Risk and Controls framework
  • Support RTEs/Scrum Masters to proactively manage delivery, balancing scope, schedule, resourcing, dependencies, communications, budget
  • Manage, monitor and report progress, issues, dependencies, risks to Head of API Delivery Management and make recommendations to influence decision-making
  • Financial management of respective domain
  • Work closely with RTE to ensure all HSBC IT governance tasks are completed
  • key HSBC IT individuals are in place: e.g. ITSA, Testing resources as required to ensure dependencies do not become issues / blockers
  • Coordination with fulfilment system owners to ensure resource will be available where planned
  • Co-ordinate test data readiness – esp. engagement with other teams’ systems
  • Oversee integration testing planning and track activities required for success
  • Manage analysis, actions and progress on Delivery RAIDs that can’t be resolved in the train
  • Escalation point for RTEs and drive upwards escalation where needed.
