Associate Engineer

Title : Associate Engineer / FTTM Zone 3

Location : NE based on Sharjah

Section : e& EUAE/Tech&IT/D&FO/Fixed Network Development/Transmission Deployment

Salary : AED 7,000

Key Responsibilities:

1. Coordinate the work in FTTM Northern Emirates for all activities related to backhauling under FTTM NE supervisor
2. Carryout the Mobile backhaul service provisioning, migration and cessation over AE optical or ONT
3. Work for backhaul related to VIP Diversity project and area redundancy plan
4. Carryout the Data cleansing for backhaul record wherever applicable in coordination with stakeholders
5. Carryout the multilink cleanup, cessation and optimization/relocation
6. Carryout the Link analysis for the performance of Mobile backhaul
7. Carryout the Troubleshoot Link in-case of any issue during integration
8. Follow up with FAN/Mega to issue needed civil or fiber plan to backhaul requirement
9. Follow up with FO Project to execute needed civil or fiber and obtain needed ECD to ensure the deployment match mobile plan
10. Follow up with Wireless Deployment in case of radio in last mile
11. Assign the task to partner for field activity and do needed follow up
12. Conduct periodic site visit to verify the quality of work, audit partner work practice or meet with concern to push and facilitate the progress of link provision
13. Accurate & on time update on Master file and NRM

Skilled Needed

1. Knowledge of GPON Network
2. Knowledge of Networking & IP-Address
3. Knowledge of testing for backhaul & troubleshooting
4. Knowledge of Mobile systems nodes
5. Supervisory skills
6. Project management skills
7. Good in MS Excel
8. Very good communication skills
9. Quality management skills

Qualification & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in engineering / Telecommunications / Electrical Engineering or equivalent. 3-5 years of experience in access network and telecom work.
