Position / Vacancy (eMx0868) : Associate Engineer Level - 3 (EPP)

Job Purpose :

Perform day-to-day preventive and corrective activities of UPS, DC, Generators, LV Panels, battery systems & power distribution systems etc. (All Power Systems). Responsible for ensuring activities are completed within the deadline provided by the supervisor.

Role and Responsibilities :

• Perform day-to-day preventive and corrective activities of UPS, DC, Generators, LV Panels, fire systems, battery systems & power distribution systems etc. (All Power Systems).
• Conduct Annual DC plant & UPS Battery annual battery load test,
• Respond to contingencies to ensure restoration of system operations in the event of a component or system malfunction.
• In depth component level troubleshooting of UPS, Rectifier, PLC, Diesel Generator and control, ATS, firefighting system and electrical systems when faults occur to ensure continuous operations.
• Conducts a quality check of all Power & E&M documents and reports, verifying accuracy of data, information, and calculations
• Ability to analyze equipment failures, incident reports, equipment to improve performance and reliability and suggest/implement corrective plan to avoid such incidents in the future.
• Manage the complete Database for the Datacenters and exchanges (Updated nodes Layouts, As built drawings, Cad SLDs, nodes connectivity Power database)
• Carryout inspections of the Power & E&M facilities to identify system single point of failure
• Responsible for Creating and Closing of Work Orders associated with their task
• Ability to lead the team in preventive and corrective activities
• Provide regular training for the operations team.
• Coordination with various vendors for emergency requirement.
• Willing to work 24/7, and extend working hours under pressure.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Required education :

Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronics/ Electronics & telecommunications / Electromechanical.

Experience : 5 to 8 years
