Associate Media Director Summary:
As an Associate Media Director, your core responsibilities are media strategy, client service, and team leadership. You will act as the primary client relationship manager. As a day-to-day single point of contact, you understand client goals and build positive rapport. You’ll lead your team in producing well thought out digital media strategies and recommendations that deliver on your client's KPI goals, using data, resources, and media best practices. You’ll be the primary voice of your team, coaching, inspiring, and motivating junior members to bring their best thinking each day.
Core Responsibilities:

A storyteller who leads cross-channel performance digital strategies and recommendations for media campaigns

Lead digital strategic planning initiatives, including copy writing, budget and channel allocation, and audience development

Work collaboratively across teams to integrate linear and digital strategies, amplifying brand impact and performance across channels
-
Act as a client relationship manager, building trust and positive rapport with client, and understanding client’s marketing objectives and goals
-
Own internal communication, vendor relationships, and the overall media execution process

With support of executive leadership, lead the development of key client deliverables, inclusive of QBRs, marketplace white papers, and bi-annual presentations to clients

Proactive and responsive client communication

Directly manage, mentor, and direct the Media Supervisor, Media Planner, and Associate Media Planner

Manage an interdisciplinary team, by client/project, that adheres to the Strategy and Planning goals

Work with Activation, Analytics, and Ad Ops teams to ensure that highest quality thinking, measurement, and reporting are executed against campaign KPIs

Support finance in the prompt and accurate distribution of client invoices and reconciliation of client budgets

Participate in professional growth and development initiatives (POV, white papers, committees, etc.), and share expertise and knowledge with the agency

Contribute to the professional growth and development of your team members

Initiate and review reports, trends, and results, interpreting data to make proactive strategic recommendations that advance business initiatives

Serve as a role model with a positive attitude, and facilitate a healthy team environment
Academic/Educational Requirements:

5+ years of media agency experience with client service, media planning, buying, and reporting

Strong background in performance-driven digital media, with advanced knowledge across Search, Social, and Programmatic platforms

Understanding of digital ad trafficking processes and platforms (DV360, Innovid, etc.)

Prior exposure to the media planning process or media resources, such as DCM, Innovid, comScore, Prisma/Mediaocean, eTelmar (MRI), Media Tools, Mediaocean OX, Commspoint, MOAT, IAS, a plus

Analytical ability to distill data into actionable insights

Ability to collaborate and communicate with clients to strengthen relationships

Proven ability to manage multiple team members

Must be capable of creating solutions and proactively resolving issues

Ability to deliver on deadlines and prioritize tasks
